Purchasing Samples for Evaluation

When a simulation is performed for the purpose of circuit design, and if satisfactory results are obtained, the next step will probably be evaluations using actual equipment. In the ROHM Solution Simulator, links are provided enabling easy purchasing of samples for evaluation.

Those persons who have not read any introductory articles prior to this one should consult “Starting a Simulation Circuit in the ROHM Solution Simulator” to start up the example simulation circuit. The following link can also be used to start the simulation directly.

Purchasing Samples for Evaluation

Upon mouseover on a component in a circuit, “Link to Buy” is displayed, as in Fig. 1; click on this to purchase. Components for which there is such a display are all ROHM products only.

Upon clicking, the product page for the component opens (Fig. 2).

Upon clicking the “BUY” button in Fig. 2, the purchase screen of Fig. 3 is shown. Opening the “Japan” tab causes a list of internet distributors and inventory to be displayed; click a “Buy” button to visit the distributor’s page for the product in question.

In this way, products needed for evaluation can be procured.
